After practicing law for more than seven years, Meg Daday established Meg Chicago Real Estate in 2015 with the vision of helping busy professionals navigate the Chicagoland real estate market.
With a background as Associate General Counsel at a start-up, a fifth grade teacher in a low-income area and, possibly most importantly, as the oldest of six children, Meg intuitively took a consultative, educational, “older sister” approach to helping clients navigate the buying and selling processes.
After helping hundreds of families, establishing a series of community events for women and families, and building a collective of trusted collaborators, Meg Chicago has evolved to more than just Meg Daday.

Meet: Maggie Mona
Marketing + Events coordinator
Maggie is a Chicago suburban transplant with a tropical twist. She spent the last 6 years in Hawaii enjoying the sunshine + securing a degree in journalism from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. She founded her own media marketing agency, where she managed marketing plans + social media account for major hotels.
She found herself missing her family + craving the buzz of a team atmosphere at work, so she packed up her life and headed back to her roots in Chicago to join the team at Heyday Homes.
With a passion for bringing women together, she found that this women owned + ran team in her hometown was a perfect fit. Maggie joined the team to create exciting events for the Heyday Homes community to enjoy.
Maggie comes to work excited to brainstorm unique Heyday Homes events, create reels for the squad, and enjoy the city.
The Heyday Philosophy
1. Home is everything.
As the setting for so much in your life, home is not only where you live, but how you live, too. Finding the right place means knowing what will support your goals and wellbeing. That’s why we take the time to discover what suits you and your lifestyle, and tailor the buying + selling experience to it.
2. Love it like a local.
Finding a neighborhood is finding your community. We use our extensive local knowledge to help you find the place you’ll love being, both in the home and outside of it, too.
3. Focus on what matters.
We want you to feel supported in all things home so you can devote your attention to what really matters. We’re here to guide decisions with intention, simplify each step and curate every detail, from buying + selling your home to making your next move.
4. Discover your world.
From real estate expertise to interior design, we tailor a world of support to who you are and where you want to go next. That way, we help you find what feels authentic to you.
A lawyer-turned-realtor, Meg has put her strong negotiation skills and marketing savvy to work for buyers and sellers throughout Chicago since 2015.
A passion for interior design and a belief that everyone can create a home that they love prompted her to leave a thriving law career to help busy professional women and families meet their real estate goals. Over the last several years, she has helped over 250 women and families buy and sell in Chicago for more than $100M in sales volume.
Meg moved back to Chicago after graduating from Notre Dame Law School in 2007 and practiced commercial litigation for five years at firms in the Loop before serving as Associate General Counsel for the now-defunct Red Frog Events, formerly based in River North. Prior to law school, Meg taught fifth grade in Tucson, Arizona through Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education program. She graduated from Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies in 2002.
A native of the Northwest suburb of Arlington Heights, Meg grew up watching Notre Dame football games every weekend and trying every sport the park district offered.
After focusing on swimming and water polo at Saint Viator High School, she went on to play water polo at Notre Dame. Focusing on running and biking since college, she has competed in nearly 30 triathlons and running races in cities around the world, including the Escape From Alcatraz Triathlon and the Chicago and Berlin Marathons.
Meg currently lives in Bucktown and is an active member of the Notre Dame Club of Chicago, the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce and Old St. Patrick’s Church.
