Roscoe Village First-time Home Buyers: Meet Katie + Ryan
Initially, we really wanted a modern home with a brand new or recently renovated feel. But, as we started to view places, we realized we have a bit more of a traditional style and wanted something that felt a bit more cozy.
Meet Jess: Ukrainian Village First-Time Buyer
I wasn't super familiar with Ukrainian Village because I had spent most my time living on the north side of the city. I started to realize what I wanted within the price point I wanted was more attainable on the West Side.
Ravenswood Upsizers: Meet Kristin + Chad
I was in the habit of running every morning and my path was the streets in our neighborhood where I most wanted to live. I probably saw the for sale sign just hours after it was put out and before the house was even on the market.
Wicker Park Buyers: Meet Caity & Noah
We were looking for a home with good bones and good value. When we saw this one we knew it needed some cosmetic love, but it was the perfect size and location.
Roscoe Village First-time Home Buyers: Meet Carolyn & Greg
We met while both living in the Lakeview area around 6 years ago, so we knew that when it came time to move back to Chicago, that we wanted to be back on the North Side. Roscoe Village in particular has a low key, family-friendly neighborhood vibe to it which we both loved, too.
Andersonville Buyer: Meet Emily
I was interested in the Andersonville / Uptown / Edgewater area for a few reasons. Many of my friends had moved to the area. The neighborhoods each have a really great personality and also genuinely feel like a community. Almost like small towns in the middle of a huge city! Plus it's a more cost-friendly option if you want to stay close to the lake - the lakeside running path is one of my favorite parts of Chicago.
Oak Park: Meet Jessica & Mike
We went back and forth over the city and suburbs for years before narrowing it down to bordering suburbs. As our search went on we found ourselves at more and more showings in Oak Park before one stuck. We love the residential semi-suburban feeling while being so close to the city. It's the best of both worlds.
Logan Square Buyer: Meet Alex & Matt
We really wanted a neighborhood feel, but to be close to our favorite restaurants and music venues. We love that there are so many parks nearby and that its a very walkable part of the city. It's close enough to everything, but we're tucked away enough to be able to feel like we have our own little hideout.
